The Dometic CFX3 100 is an exceptional cooler and freezer that blends durability with superior functionality. Its generous 100-liter capacity is ideal for long journeys, while the VMSO3 variable motor speed optimization technology ensures effective cooling and freezing, even in harsh environments. I have adjusted the temperature from about -5F for freezing to the suggested 39F for standard food cooling. A standout feature is the Bluetooth app control which enables remote temperature monitoring and adjustment to about a distance of 30ft. That can come in handy while driving in the backcountry with the cooler in the back of a vehicle.The unit’s sturdy construction makes it well-suited for outdoor activities. However, the cover, which must be purchased separately, is challenging to install on this cooler/freezer. The CFX3-100 is expensive, but its quality and warranty set it apart. The CFX3-100 remains a dependable and adaptable mobile refrigerator for any travel arrangement or emergency scenario. It works well on 120-volt home current or 12-24 volts with the cigarette lighter vehicle socket. It also functions well on various retail available lithium battery power stations.

Very sturdy and excellent quality
I purchased the 100 liter version for the back of my Tacoma overlanding rig. It is very well constructed, keeps food and drink very cold with minimal power consumption. No problem running this for a week on my solar charged lithium battery system even with some cloudy days thrown in. It is rugged and takes the pitching and rolling of the truck with no issues. I do recommend the protective cover to protect the exterior of the fridge. Overall I couldnât be happier with my purchase.

I received my fridge and the box was destroyed. It also looks like is was used previously. There are marks on it and there are no cables.

Great cooler/freezer
So the Dometic cooler/freezer is great and durable and very well-made cooler. But if you have an iPhone, you are in for just an awful time trying to connect to Bluetooth or Wi-Fi as long as you donât care about that function it could be the best cooler in the world, but as of yet I have still not been able to connect to Bluetooth and I have gone through all of the FAQs

Refrigeration did not function!Unable to pair with Blue Tooth?Very large and heavy so difficult to te package.Awaiting UPS pick up for return X days and counting. Amazon very easy to arrange return.

Great product
Love this unit. Our 12 year old freezer died so we needed to get a new one. This was our choice. We have had it hooked up for about 2 months now. I would have given it 5 stars except I can’t get the Bluetooth connection to work.

Horrible customer service
Good product but it was a tight fit for my camper van. The lid wouldnât open fully so I had to return it brand new. I returned it in November and itâs mid January and still havenât been refunded. Poor customer service that was tough to get through into in person and hasnât processed refund payment even though the return was received and payment was said to be refunded last month.

I love this portable cooler/fridge. It is rugged, well built, the application to control it is easy to use, the electric connector plugs (120v AC / 12v DC) are rugged. My experience showed it doesn’t consume much energy when using the 12V which is when it really counts. In some cases I had to leave it unplugged for some time and the temperature raised less than I expected.I was going to buy a Global-Zero portable energy box but since most places where out of stock, I just bought a 12V deep-cycle battery and an adapter for the car-lighter adapter that connects to the battery.My only disappointment was when I received it, I realized I bought the one section fridge instead of the 2 sections. I would have really preferred the 95L model (albeit 5% smaller) but I needed immediately. My must say it was my mistake and my mistake only.Any improvement I wish? Yes, although minor. The documentation specifies you should not power both the 12v DC and 120v AC simultaneously. I wish I could do that. Like many people on the road, I have a generator that I run from time to time. When the generator is running and 120v DC is have available, that should be the energy source for the fridge and whenever the generator is stopped then it should automatically default to the 12v battery connection. Today you can do that, although you have to manually change the connectors to the desired power source, and it is easy to forget. I would be nice if it was automatic. It is possible to make it automatic with the addition of a 120v to 12v DC charger to the battery and only use 12v connection all the time but it is one more item to forget, lose of break.
