    Very warm
This patio heater gets the job down. It was very cold outside but we stayed warmed with this electric tower patio heater

Damaged shipping box and damaged product
Unable to give an accurate rating. I purchased this product based on the great reviews (also with black Friday deal) and was looking forward to using it immediately but it arrived damaged. I returned it and will purchase a replacement, although not sure I will get the black Friday deal. I hope the replacement arrives undamaged. Update to come.

  3. James D Prather

Big heat in a small tower
This works great in 30-40F weather. Probably would need two of them if it’s windy or snowing. Its waterproof design makes it ideal for both garages and outdoor spaces.

Nice packaging but product arrived broken
We were quite excited to try this patio heater for our home and excited to get it in a Black Friday sale. The packaging and product looked really professional and well-designed; however, it emitted flames and noxious odors the first time we tried to use it. When we examined it, it looked as though the primary heating element tube was seriously cracked open. We’re returning it.

Very safe and very warm patio heater
We get some cold nights here in central Florida but we still like to sit outside and this patio heater is a perfect solution. It has a sturdy cord that does need to be run unobtrusively, but if it sits in the corner of a patio it has more than enough heat to heat the whole patio on a 55 degree night so that’s not really a problem. We did bump it one time and it tipped over onto a plant and it shut itself off immediately so the tip over protection is just fine. The incident did not damage the unit at all and it is made quite sturdy and we think it is going to be something we will enjoy for a long time.

    Damaged
Returning- Both lamps on the heater were cracked inside the box. The shipping box was not damaged just the heater.

Much singular in its direction of heat
Too singular in its direction of heat. I tried it and was expecting more. Returned it

Puts out some heat and fast
I am a fan of East Oak, I have multiple products from them and all have been very useful and high quality. This heater heats up instantly and puts out a good amount of heat. I have a 24×36 pole barn that has a concrete floor and insulated doors, but I have not insulated the walls or ceiling in it yet. I have a mini-split heat pump that works great for air conditioning in the summer, but does pretty much nothing for heat (it all goes up into the ceiling that is 12-16 feet up and I freeze at ground level. I have tried using a diesel torpedo heater, but the fumes are too much to handle so I switched to a propane version that has no fumes, but costs me about $50/week in propane to use for a couple hours every night to sit out in the barn and smoke a cigar. I picked up this heater to see if I could sit it by my chair to just heat me up and not have to heat up the entire barn and so far it is working great for that. It hasn’t gotten really cold out yet, but I have used it in some 40 and 50 degree weather so far and it heats up the area around me in probably a 10 foot diameter very well. The remote control is nice also. There is a cloth handle in case you need to move it around (there is also a metal flange that sticks out, but it gets hot pretty quick). I am not sure how long the glass tube that seems to generate the heat will last, hopefully these are replaceable and will be available when the time comes. I am not sure how to measure the electric this uses, but I did use it on the same circuit when I was using a paint sprayer and didn’t blow any breakers. You don’t want to have anything sitting near this (especially in front of it) because it gets very hot.
