It’s the whole 36″ wide plus.
Very nice appearance, works quite well, solid. I’d buy this again for sure. The documentation doesn’t show it but this is ALL of 36″ wide and in spots 36.06″. The old Viking that came out was 35.875″ so I kinda figured this was an industry standard, apparently not. No idea which is the actual standard by the way. I ended up having to remove a cabinet and do some “custom trimming” to make it fit, a very tight fit even at that. I bought the LP version, came with jets for NG in a little bag so it could be converted back to natural gas if desired, nice touch. Has some smaller burners so one can actually simmer which is nice. The big burners still don’t pump out heat like the Viking did but not bad just the same.

DON’T BUY A KUCHT APPLIANCE
DON’T BUY A KUCHT! A year and a half into my 4 year warranty, after three service calls and several attempts to repair, the KUCHT technician declared my range was irreparable and needed to be replaced. Ruiz, the “head of KUCHT”, refuses to take my calls and ignores my messages. So now I’m stuck with an irreparable $6,000 range that’s in its warranty. At this point all I can do is WARN YOU!
