Works for my needs
Purchased to help keep ambient temp inside a small greenhouse above freezing. We have the greenhouse over out well pump whenever we have a freeze and this does the trick. Keeps the pressure line above freezing so we don’t lose water on those rare cold nights.

the heat is wonderful but it ( the bulb ) does not take much abuse…i.e. the chickens love to play with it and tend to overdo it and the bulb does not last as long as it should

First Bulb Only Lasted 8 Weeks
I used this bulb 24/7 for 8 weeks to brood chicks. When it was time to turn it off and remove it from the reflector, the bulb portion separated from the metal base so it can not be used again.

They work wonderfully. We have outdoor cats that have heated beds in our pool shed but it was supposed to go down to minus thirty-something and I was concerned. My darling hubby bought these bulbs and replaced the two overhead lights with them to take the edge off the cold. The pool shed now glows like Hades at night but my mind is at ease. Good price, good quality, work just as they should.

Light comes as a 2 pak. Lights infrared are good, 250 watt, 120 volt. Would be nice if longer life expectancy but are supposed to last up to 2000 hours. Overall a good product.
