I got this heater for my office because it tends to get cold. There are some setting issues for me that I have not quite figured out, but just turning it off and on is fine. The heat generated manages to warm up my area of the office so that is fine with me. It is little on the bigger side for placing on a desk. I recommend this item.

Pleasantly surprised. Works well in an RV
I only give five-star reviews when a product is good enough to recommend to friends and family and this one definitely qualifies.This quartz heater is doing a much better job keeping the RV comfortable than the high-dollar ceramic heater it replaced which was kind of surprising.There are several different designs of quartz heaters, Some are purely radiant, while those are good at heating objects they don’t heat the room air nearly as well. This particular model is a quartz convection heater. That means It has a powerful fan that blows over the quartz element which heats the air and it does an excellent job of warming the air in the room.The fan is much more powerful than the ceramic heater we were using, Of course it’s also slightly louder but that’s tolerable considering how well it’s heating the RV…I took some quick measurements of the sound pressure produced by the heater. My electronics lab has a background sound level of 31dB which is exceptionally quiet. A quiet library is considered 40dB While running this heater Increase the sound level from 31dB to 47dB This is very quiet in fact most people would probably not even realize it was running. The average conversation is nearly 60 dB, That might not sound like a lot but remember every 3dB is technically twice the volume In other words this heater is about 400 percent quieter than the average conversation.This heater also has an excellent Thermostat which was my biggest gripe with the ceramic heaters I’ve used.Every ceramic heater I’ve used regardless of cost suffered from poor temperature regulation. In other words they were either cooking you out of the room or you were freezing, On average they all seem to suffer from a plus or minus 7 degree hysteresis.That’s fancy engineering speak for poor temperature regulation. For example if you set the temperature to 72 degrees the other heaters wouldn’t shut off until the temperature was around 79 or 80 degrees and then it wouldn’t kick back on until the temperature was about 65 degrees.This might not sound so bad but if you were using this to heat your bedroom you were constantly kicking the covers off because it would get too hot in the room and then 20 minutes later you’d wake up shivering pulling the covers back on because you were freezing..This quartz heater does an amazing job at keeping the temperature range down to about 3 degrees Which is absolutely amazing, When I first got it I set the temperature to 72 degrees to test it and when the temperature dropped to about 69 degrees it kicked on and then it shut off at exactly 72 degrees.. As far as I’m concerned that’s worth its weight in gold.The remote control works well and is very intuitive, It easily controls the heater from across the room.Unfortunately it didn’t come with batteries so make sure you have three AAA batteries on hand. To be fair they do say that batteries aren’t included and the remote control isn’t necessary as it does have dedicated front panel buttons.It has storage for the power cord on the back, Unfortunately there’s no place to store the remote. It would be nice if there was a storage slot for the remote control so it doesn’t get misplaced when storing for the summer.My only other gripe is that the Mode indicator lights could be a bit brighter, they’re not nearly as bright as the LED temperature readout but that’s only a minor gripe.Overall I really like this heater and would definitely buy another.

Heats a larger-than-average master bedroom.
This heater works very well. I have it in my master bedroom which is ~ 25’x20′, and I don’t need to use the central, whole house heater at night. The remote is simple, yet it has the mandatory buttons to turn the unit off and on, adjust the temperature, and set the timer; there’s also a button to adjust the brightness. I would consider this heater to be small, but that is subjective. A nice feature is that the unit stays cool to the touch; I have one heater on which you could cook a hamburger! Overall, this heater keeps my bedroom warm and cozy, so I can recommend it to anyone who is cold.
