Fantastic cooktop!
You will find more expensive cooktops with a bigger ânameâ but honestly, this one fit my space and replaced a very expensive Wolf cooktop and I do not notice a difference. I am a big cooker. I cook daily and often. I cook holiday meals for many people and this cooktop does not disappoint.

Looks nice but lots of issues
The unit looks nice. I am replacing a viking that i had for 18 yrs. After installing empale i realize the burners are not completely enclosed so liquids and food will drop down into unit and u cant clean then. Also the burners are cumbersome and hard to ignight. The gas comes on only on part of the center burner and if it doesnt ignite, gas keeps flowing . And finally after they ignite the lowest setting is too much heat. I returned.
