PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Dry laundry to the optimum level when using the Equator 4 cu.ft. White Vented Dryer ED 880. Measuring 33.5″ x 23.6″ x 25.2″ (HxWxD). Using the front facing digital display, easily select from multiple drying programs including Normal, Heavy, Eco, Delicate, Shoes, and Refresh. Additional built-in programs such as sensor dry, 3 heat levels, and 4 dry levels make drying more precise. There are additional features such as delay start, diagnostic menu, on/off chime, a secure child lock, reversible door, an interior light, a Clean Lint Filter reminder, remaining time display, and automatic temperature control. Included with the ED 880 are an exhaust elbow and exhaust hose to connect to the wall. A 220V (3 or 4 Pin) Power Cord is necessary to be installed to operate the machine. Additional accessories sold separately are Stacking kit to stack it with the Equator Washer, Pedestal to raise the height by 11″.

Did my research. Bought the washer and the dryer from amazon. Its a Equator 880 vented dryer Model.Installed the stackâ¦.. washed a very small load.Put it into the dryerâ¦. Through a error code e7â¦.. drum locked/ belt off/ or broken. Ok.. tried again no clothes⦠same error code. Ordered a replacement. Amazon did me right and it arrived in 2 daysâ¦.. early. Installed the replacementâ¦.. same error codeâ¦. Yep the drum is locked with no free spool at all, nothing.These units are 2024â¦.. both are DOAâ¦.. i would venture to sayâ¦. All inventory is junk.So equator is now involved and they are going to send a tec out. My parts to fix should arrive in a few days. Something wrong with having to call a tec out to fix a dryer that has yet to dry a sock. I asked ⦠how you know what parts i need?â¦says e7 error code calls for a new motor and or belt. How they managed to compile that info in a 2024 unit and put that in the owners manual is beyond me. Obvious the production line is not checking there work for function. Letting the customers pay to fix the problem.Worst experience i have ever had and i been doing amazon forâ¦â¦. Ever. The same is true for the other on line company’s like amazon.Even tho this issue was not created by amazonâ¦.. its still on their shoulders. Amazon serves a purpose in my life, saves me slot of traveling. I will continue to use amazon, howeverâ¦. I will limit my items to something small tho . Try going through the you got the box argument â¦.. and shippingâ¦. With a washer and dryerâ¦. Living alone at 72 in the desert??â¦â¦. Just kinda rucks. They fail this last task and ill just send it all back to amazon before my 3o days is upâ¦.. i still have three weeks left

Dryer takes too long to dry.,
I have a small area for a stackable and so I bought the washer and dryer. I run an Airbnb and all my cleaners complain bc it takes so long to dry. They charge me more to clean now bc they have to take the laundry home to dryâ¦. I guess if you have hours to wait around this might work. I also thought maybe i didnât vent it correctly so I paid a handyman to re route the vent hose and nope⦠still sucks.

Looks great, takes a long time to dry
I specifically looked for a vented 220 dryer so that I would have the best drying ability. Unfortunately we found that the dryer takes a very long time to dry even a small load.Amended review: the equator company reached out to me and made arrangements for a repair person to come out and check my dryer. Their prompt response was impressive and the repair person was great. We now have a contact person in case of any problems. I recommend this company for their outstanding customer service.

Canât use on regular outlet
Comes with a 220 v outlet that canât be used in my Rv I have no way of connecting this machine itâs a waste of money if you donât have the right outlet very disappointed now I have to wait for a week to return it and wait two more weeks to get another one that will work

Everything you could want, but compact!
Itâs got double the cubic feet at 4 cubic feet then 90% of the dryers that will fit in RVs Most are between 1.5 and 1.9 with this dryer Measuring 33.5″ tall x 23.6″ wide x 25.2″ deep, its smaller than the typical dryer size. a regular size front loader dimension size is 39 inches tall, 27 inches wide, and 32 to 34 inches deep. So you can see that although itâs not a ton smaller it is definitely smaller. I have found that it fit into my fifth wheel RV perfectly. Anything bigger would not have fit.The only issue that I had was that it was 220 volt. I would have preferred finding a 110, but I donât think I would have gotten a dryer that would perform as well as this one does. It’s definitely a higher-end dryer.It dries my clothes quickly, and effiiciently. Plus it has a ton of different settings so that no matter what type of clothing you have; itâs got a setting for it I do think it is priced quite high for a dryer, but it does have all the bells and whistles that a full size dryer would have and more. Delay start, auto heat sensor, lint reminder, child lock, light inside dryer to see what youâre grabbing it cool too Are just a few. I guess it does cost more to get everything you want, but compact it so that it can fit in an R.VWe did have our electrician friend wire the RV for 220v. Was fairly cheap to do.

Came broken. Manufacturer sent someone to repair twice with no luck. However, they sent me a new one and said keep the broken one. Worth the waiting ! I love it!
