A bargain and easy to install…
Our old Thermidor gas cook top was failing.I decided to not repair but replace. This GE cooktopâs price seems too good to be true.The burner layout and grate design is exactly like the old Thermidor. It arrived in two days.A buddy and I removed the old unit, converted the new to propane and installed it in about 90 minutes. The instructions are simple and straightforward. The unit is a little lighter than the older. It looks great and works perfectly.

Great replacement for old GE cooktop
Replaced an old GE Profile glass cooktop with this and it was a great fit. Love the look and so far it has worked well. Itâs easy to keep clean. Amazon had the best price by far than other big box stores.

Nice job, GE!!
This replaced an old (1995) GE profile cook top. Plug and play replacement, could not have been easier! This is better in every way from the old model – easier to clean, better burners, better (although thinner) grates, better arrangement of the burners (they moved the large to the outside, so big pans and handles don’t interfere with the controls). What more can I say? We’ve had it for a month, cook a lot, and love it!!

A Shinning Cooktop
The GE cooktop is well packed and arrived in a good condition. It perfectly matches the existing cutout on countertop. The cooktop runs great. The only thing I want to complain is that I had to make a trip to a local Home Depot to purchase a gas adapter to connect the gas regulator and pipe. It would be nice to include an adapter in the package.

Grates are straight and flat
This cooktop is simple yet very stylish. Reasonable price. Stainless steel is difficult to get rid of marks but easy to clean after spills and cooking. Grates do not have lots of curves so they are easy to clean and they are dishwasher safe – big help. One item can be improved – knobs should be stainless steel. They are plastic and therefore one must be very careful when cleaning not to scratch them. And during cooking knobs get very dirty from oils and such. My semi-solution is to cover them lightly during cooking.

Easy to keep clean
Had to get a cooktop that had side controls and we are so glad we made this one our choice. The install was easy, the burners are placed just right, and itâs easy to clean. Removing the two grates are easy, they donât weigh too much, but they are heavy enough to be very durable. Would buy again but it may not be available when it dies as it is well made. Good purchase.

Great unit. Looks fantastic. A little smaller than our previous model, but still fits the hole in our countertop. Great purchase. Upgrade to the house. Burners are hot and work great. light east. Quick and easy install. Dishwasher safe grates. Shhh somehow I got this on sale and it was A STEAL.
