It does relieve pain
Infared heating pad is soft on the skin and light weight.I ordered this pad after suffering with a lumbar bilateral muscle spasm for 3 days, It was pure misery.Wasn’t sure it was going to help ( since I was using a regular heating pad for the last 3 days with no relief)but to my surprise after using this infared heat pad my spasm eased up.I had my doubts because it did not heat up as HOT as my regular heat pad, but II feel the infared heat went deeper into the muscle instead of just cooking the surface of my skinI am very pleased

Poor quality! Failed after less than 2 months!
Half of the heating elements don’t work after less than two months. Very disappointed! My old-school wire heating pad still works after 10+ years. By the way, this didn’t seem like “king size” to me. I was really excited about this new far-infrared generating material graphene and it’s promise. As far as the benefit of the supposed far-infrared of this pad, my pain in low back didn’t get better. I can’t say that the heat feels more penetrating than my old heating pad. It does get as hot as my old heating pad. I will say that my shoulder/neck tension/pain got better, but I didn’t notice until after I stopped using it every night so I don’t know if would have gotten better on it’s own or whether this had a delayed effect. I also didn’t really like having the 4 separate elements spread-out so much, but then, I didn’t like feeling the path of the hot wire in the old school pad. I felt like I had to reposition this often to obtain even coverage. Either way, I’m not satisfied with the build-quality. Less than two months? C’mon! Of course, the return period was only one month, so I guess now I either have to cut it open and see if I can fix a broken wire, or just use the 2 elements that work which get hotter now.

Worked great for a year
Zero complaints when it was working. It provided a soothing heat; did what it was supposed to do.After about a year, though, it simply stopped. Power wasn’t going to the pad — so it was electrical in nature, and I’m guessing with the cord.Couldn’t get any customer support, so had to take the L and move on.

Relief for Computer Shoulders Leads to Good Night of Rest
Like everyone else I spend a lot of time being on the computer. I didnât realize that my shoulders and upper back muscles were as tight as they were. I got this heating pad after my other traditional heating pad got old and worn out. I wanted to try an infrared heating pad to see if there was any noticeable difference. And, to my surprise there was. The heat was deeper and more penetrating than my traditional heating pad. My 1st time I laid on it before going to bed for about 45-50 minutes. And I slept all night without the usual waking up between 3 to 5AM. I never realized that my tight upper back muscles were keeping me from getting a good nightâs rest.The thing I donât like about it is that the pad is fairly rigid in comparison to my tradition heating pad. I end up turning my body instead of forming the pad around me. It is comfortable but firm and who cares as long as it does the job. Iâm very glad that I tried this product.Also, easy to pack and take along in a suitcase when your on a business trip and want to relax after a long day.

(UPDATE after 2 years, below!) … and gets hot enough! I have to turn it down to the lowest setting most of the time, and it is divine.This is my first graphene far-infrared heating pad, and I love it. The heat penetrates and radiates deeper than any heating device I have ever used. It relieves my pain instantly. I use it every day. It works so well that I had to do more research into far-infrared than I had done before my purchase. I had been sold on the idea that I wasn’t submitting my body to intense electromagnetic radiation like traditional heating pads, but I hadn’t done much research beyond that. I have been pleasantly surprised by what I have read. There are many health benefits and the research is really promising. This heating pad is just the beginning of many more applications to come.Because I have been so happy with this incredible heating pad, I have purchased another graphene infrared heating product that is more portable. It is a waist belt that plugs into a power bank, so I can take the infrared therapy with me wherever I go. I also put the belt over a wash cloth across my eyes at night to help me battle dry eye — it seems to be working!But this particular heating pad is really great for covering a large area at once. I can be treating my upper back and lower back simultaneously with this pad alone. I recommend this to my friends and family and anyone who will listen.My only complaint is that I worry how long it will last. While graphene is a very strong material, I worry that this heating pad is not as rugged as the ones I have used my whole life. So, like any new product, it will take some adjusting, and hopefully no breaking on my part. It’s not a heating pad that I will roll the cord around to store, nor one that I will leave on my bed for my 2 year old to jump on, when I’m not looking.I truly can’t recommend this enough.UPDATE: I have had this heating pad for almost 2 years now. It works just as well today as it did when I first bought it, although it looks worse for wear, and after almost 700 days of continuous use, it will probably not make it to its third birthday. I look forward to using this pad every day. It started making a popping sound a few weeks after purchase, that sounded worrisome but nothing ever came of it and seems to have kept working just fine. I think it was the graphene kind of changing shape or expanding when heated and making the velcro catch and move, but I’m not sure.

Heating pad is soft to the touch but it does not conform well to curved areas of the body. Its made up of some wide strips that heat up and they just bend very well.Overall the pad does not heat up very hot and does not seem to deliver that penetrating heating effect like pads with the jade stones.Would not buy again. The wife said “quit wasting my time and get a real heating pad”
