Sturdy, attractive tub bar
This bar was easy to install with the wrench supplied by the manufacturer. For a secure fit, I recommend two things that were not in the directions. First, use a pair of needle nose pliers to hold the nut in place while tightening the bolt to assure a secure fit. Second, remove the caps from the bolts under the grab bars, and tighten those with the wrench because the bars were a bit wobbly otherwise.

Great replacement part
Nice quality unit. Fairly easy installation for one person. Two 24 inch X 1/2 inch rebar rods worked perfectly for adjusting the tension. One note of caution, match up the new spring as close to the old one as you can. I made the initial mistake of trying a larger spring and it really upset the torsion balance. When the larger spring was properly adjusted to open the door it would not unwind enough to let the door close. This spring is a very close match for the original and now everything works like new.

My son loves this in his room
Very nice quality iron that gives a distinctive look to my son’s room. I wanted to decorate in a very minimalistic way with items that could be enjoyed for years to come from age one up to and hopefully thru the teen years. The moose, deer, chicken, pine trees and bear silhouetted outlet and light covers were just the touch I was looking for! Though expensive, I think they will be a good long-term investment for my son’s room in our country home in CT.

The wheel spacers fit and work exactly proper. I needed about 1/4″ these are 5mm slightly less than 1/4″ but is exactly what I needed for the needed clearance for larger tires then the original 12″ trailer tires.

The is the only product our local paint store recommended. Eight years ago we finished our new pine floors with helmsman poly with 4 coats and it wore through in a year. Not wanting to repeat the refinishing soon, this came highly recommended and it seems to do the trick. We did 4 coats again and were told to wait 24 hours between coats for maximum hardness. Nice thing is if you put on another coat within the 24 hours you don’t have to sand between coats.Don’t know about the durability yet (will get back to you next year) so i took one star off.
