   Wonderful
   I love these heat pads. I have the large mat and medium size pads, and the neck heater. I regularly recommend UTK products to my friends and family who suffer from chronic pain, like I do.Not only do I find them helpful for my pain from herniated discs, strained muscles, athritis, internal scar tissue from surgeries, and other common physical ailments, the soothing infrared heated stones also lift me out of depression, seasonal mood swings and other mental discomfort. Lying on the gently heated full size mat is like lying on cloud nine. I do it before I go to sleep, and in the morning when I wake up, and I enjoy mediating while lying on it. This mat has changed my life for the better.There’s zero offgassing from the man-made parts, and I keep a sheet and towel on the surface where I lie on, to protect it. I love the precise adjustability of the heat control, and the timer. I keep the mat permanently of the side of the bed that I don’t sleep on, for quick ease of use whenever I need it, which is typically several times a day. It’s also great to use cold/unheated on hot days.The UTK customer service is stellar, should you ever need it.I’m a huge fan of these reasonably prized UTK infrared heat stone products.

   Effective Therapy
   I love this product. Deep Infrared Therapy* is quickly established once turned on & set for temperature. Not only is this effective for pain relief, it calms nerves, deepens breath, and enhances sleep. The size and weight are suitable for travel. When compared to the larger, heavier, and pricier BioMat, it’s got some advantages and shortcomings. On the plus side, UTK is a fraction of the BioMat price, its easy to store and pack, and it’s easier to regulate. On the down side, the treatment area is significantly narrower and shorter than BioMat. Additionally, there is zero cushion between the mat & the body. That said, the product can be wrapped or adjusted around the body for specific treatment access.*This may be contraindicated for use by anyone with metal implants. Check with the manufacturer.

   Another Great UTK Heating Pad
   UTK makes a great heating pad! More expensive than the heating pads at the local stores, but so much more capable that the added expense is more than justified. I have purchased four of the smaller ones for myself, friends, and my mother. I purchase the full length one for my mom, to help her with both back and leg pain.The deep infrared heating, thermostatic control, and timer functions make for perfect level of comfort and improved pain relief from sore muscles, tension, back injuries, etc. Temperature can be set in 1 degree increments. Timer shuts pad off after 4 hours by default, but is adjustable. Natural stone heat is much more pleasant, and deeper penetrating than the old school heat pad you find at a department store.This type of pad is superior to any traditional heating pad. Highly recommended.

   WAS PERFECT AND THEN….
   I LOVED this mat and used it year round until today when it has apparently died. I am SO SAD. This was an expensive purchase and I am really bummed and kind of disgusted that it only lasted 17 months. Unacceptable.

   Uncomfortable
   The rocks are very hard on the skin and netting fabric is also itchy. But if you wear thick clothing to avoid the discomfort, then it’s not hot enough.Design is not great for the money you pay for this item

   Soothing and offers great relaxation
   I choose this merchant since I have purchased other products in the past and had no issue. I even recommended my sister who also purchased and item. Per my review, which I frequently do before making a purchase, the following benefits are noted “These include detoxification, pain relief, reduction of muscle tension, relaxation, improved circulation, weight loss, skin purification, lowered side effects of diabetes, boosting of the immune system and lowering of blood pressure.” I do not have problems with pain but do walk and average of four plus miles per day and use mostly for relaxation, muscle tension and circulation. I had purchased the medium size in 2017 and always regretted not having the full size. You can get a sauna effect base on how high you move the temperature, as I discovered with the initial purchase. That caused to explore sauna mats and as a result I purchased the Heat Healer sauna mat.My initial purchase still works but I am now experiencing the full body now that winter is here. It feels so good on those cold nights and so soothing and relaxing. The reason for the four stars is that the size is a little misleading since the actual stones and heating element are way below the 24 X 72 inches. All in All I do recommend this product. I also comes with a very long cord with is very beneficial.

   Full body therapy
   Works great. and heavyweight so it stays put, unlike other heating pads I’ve used. I sleep with it every night for three months and I haven’t woke with back pain once. Perfect size for me (5’11” 175 lbs) to apply hear from my neck down to my feet. Highly recommended.
